ASM-GROUP was founded in 1995 as a merger of small furniture manufacturers and fabric distributors. Being investor and coordinator of the process Mr. Raf Mukhametov purchased the office and production facilities at Okruzhnaya Street 3 and 5 with total area about 50000 square meters.

To break into the market and to gain its market share the ASM-STUDIO was created (Original Furniture Studio). Involving experience of furniture producers the studio started to develop its own furniture models. The same name - "ASM" became a trademark of the furniture units and a name of the group later.

Today ASM-GROUP is an integrated system with entire supplying and sales infrastructure based on self-producing a number of accessories and direct relationships with foreign fabric- and mattress-manufacturers.

ASM-GROUP is a leading manufacturer on the regional furniture market, it's represented in all regions of Russia and includes four soft-furniture factories: ASM Ltd., ASM-ELEGANT Ltd, ASM-CLASSIC Ltd, ASM-ELITE Ltd. Each factory produces self-designed furniture of certain category and price level.

Besides that the Group includes a factory called RELAX Ltd. which produces orthopedic mattresses and spring units for furniture. In the year 2008 a new building was constructed and a new factory was established. It's called ASM-MODULE Ltd. and oriented on all kinds of block furniture producing with high-level standards of quality. The factories are equipped with modern machines, such as HOMAG, CEHISA, UMIT MAKINA.

In the year 2001 was constructed and put into operation a foam-making factory with capacity over 400 ton per month.

There are three big whole sales companies in the GROUP which supply all kinds of furniture and mattress materials from their warehouses to the regions of North, Ural, Siberia and Volga. So PROMTECHKOMPLEKT Ltd. is a dealer of upholstery fabrics manufacturers from Canada, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Turkey and China; ASM-KOMPLEKT Ltd. supplies all necessary materials for mattress-producing; URALMEBELKOMPLEKT Ltd. sells about 500 items of metal and plastic accessories, glues, fiberboards and hardboards.

Development outlook.

To keep the position of leader on the Russian furniture market ASM-GROUP is constantly developing itself and changing its technology and machinery. We create lots of new designs of fabrics according to the customer's requirements. Annually we enlarge our furniture range with 60 new models.

In 2008 it was built two brand new production facilities with total area 20.000 square meters, equipped with the most updated program-controlled machines.
